Global Agency Forges Cause-Related Partnership with La Rabida Children’s Hospital

Global advertising agency AbelsonTaylor has forged a cause-related partnership with La Rabida Children’s Hospital to promote its unique story as a pediatric specialty care facility for patients with severe illnesses or traumatic injuries.

Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, La Rabida provides services for children who need:

  • Transitional care following hospitalization for premature birth, traumatic injury,
    surgery or cancer treatment
  • Early invention to minimize the risk of developmental delays
  • Rehabilitation services including physical, occupational and speech therapy
  • Medical management of a chronic illness
  • Technology to help them breathe, swallow, or move or provide nutrition

AbelsonTaylor is one of the largest independent healthcare advertising agencies in the world. For La Rabida, AbelsonTaylor will donate its marketing expertise by conducting market research and developing a campaign to raise awareness for the hospital’s outpatient programs.

The agency will also be donating backpacks and school supplies to patients at the hospital’s outpatient clinic during back-to-school season. To kick off this Backpack Drive, the agency’s amateur band will play during a peak clinic time.
